Valor Quilt Bee is an online, ongoing, EASY-GOING quilting bee to coordinate far-flung individual contributions of blocks for Quilts of Valor tops. These quilts are presented to U.S. servicemembers who have been injured/afflicted on deployment. It is open to everyone who wants to participate. Join the FUN! Ideas, Examples, and Tutorials

(This page is added to periodically)

(just remember to make yours at 6", 9", or 12" - with the 1/2" seam allowance also around the edges)

Feel free to simply throw together a 4-patch or 9-patch if you're pressed for time or a beginning stitcher. These make very nice fillers around more complicated blocks!

Quilts of Valor Foundation  <~~ The overarching organization

Below are links where you can scroll down to see lots of different Valor Quilts that people have made. Some are more striking than others. They don't *have* to be Americana colored, but ours will be, because we need to have some point of coordination with no block pattern being chosen.  ;D

Because of the set-up of our Bee, our quilts will be scrappy style versus all-over design. But TRUST ME - they will be very pretty when we get finished with them!
